I am Frank, owner and guiding hand of Creative Workshops. With 50+ years’ experience in making, fixing, teaching, lecturing and designing it is now time to pass on some of the practical skills that have served me well throughout my life and career.

Many of the traditional, practical skills are not being passed down through the generations for a multitude of reasons. Woodwork and metalwork have not been taught in mainstream schools for many years. 

Project based practical courses are designed to develop skills and the problem-solving thought processes that are transferable to many other situations as well as the unique item made during the session. 

All ages and abilities including ND and physical issues are welcome for appropriate courses. The main restricting factors are access (a flight of stairs) and workshop safety.
